This is Day 59 of my 100 Days of Wall Art project. You can learn more about my 100 Day Project here.
About this Piece
I have no idea where this came from, but I wanted to make iridescent pink and white stripes for today’s project. First, let me be the one to say that making precise, perfectly parallel, perfectly perfect lines by cutting PUTTY is not going to go well. It’s just not. This isn’t a you problem, it’s a material limitation. Of course, you can take steps to make it easier and better. But honestly, if you want to make perfect stripes with polymer clay, you either need to be PERFECTLY PATIENT or you need to cut cured clay.

I’ll share progress pics and how-to information in each day’s post in the 100 Days Section of Blue Bottle Insiders. You can see all my projects (so far!), along with those of dozens of other members who are posting their daily projects as well. You can join Insiders here.
Make one-of-a-kind patterns to use in your polymer clay projects. The tutorial illustrates this via an earring project.
