About this Piece
Did you know I love playing Geoguessr? It’s a bit of an obsession, and it means I often get lost exploring the most incredible places on Google Maps. Yesterday was a deep dive into the high mountain glacier lakes of Patagonia. From the air, it looks like a moonscape, but then when you click into a photo someone has taken from the ground, you see the most incredible beauty. I grew up in the San Juan Mountains, so it takes a lot to make me gasp in awe, and Patagonia does it. OMG.
This is all polymer clay, created with a palette knife. Yesterday, I used straight primary colors, but today I added black and white to my palette and mixed colors before applying them with the knife. This is definitely addictive.
