This is a lacrosse ball (Affiliate Link – learn more here). I never go to any clay event without it.
Why?
Because it’s all too easy to get a knot in your back from being hunched over or from cranking your pasta machine while twisted in your chair.
So, you take the ball, go find a wall, and lean into the ball, placing it right where the pain is. See if it helps to use the ball to massage the tight muscle. It’s a lot like using a tennis ball, but it’s firmer, so it doesn’t flatten when you lean into it.
This little number has saved me so many times. And when I’m at a clay event, it gets borrowed often. Try it!
