I’ve tried many ways over the years to store all my jewelry findings such as jump rings, ear wires, posts, clasps, spacer beads, and more. I keep coming back to this simple method of using these sectioned boxes.
They’re officially embroidery floss boxes. Most of mine come from Amazon here’s my affiliate link. But you can also (usually) find them in craft stores and even Walmart.
I like these because they’re a uniform size and compact, so I can stack them. I can see what’s inside of them. The catch holds well and they’re fairly easy to open. I always write the contents on the end in Sharpie. Any other notes are easily scribbled on the lid the same way. (TIP: erase Sharpie with alcohol)
Sometimes I need to remove a bit of extra jagged plastic with a craft knife. These things are pretty cheap. But cheap is good.
