This time of year, cosmetic gift sets, candy, and cookies often come packaged in metal tins. It’s a waste of packaging, of course, but … here are some ideas.

• Store things in them. Even better if you have several identically sized ones that can stack.
• Use the lid as a baking tray.
• Temporarily put away projects that you’re still working on but want to keep dust and fur-free.

Sometimes I think polymer clay is the best recycle/reuse medium!
