About this Piece

While I’m not done with the whole pottery series (so much yet to figure out), I needed to fall back on “old reliable” for today’s project. My youngest drove up unexpectedly, and so we’re getting much-needed mommy-daughter snuggles. I figured I’d just make another palette knife “painting” for today, but creativity pushed to the front of the line, and I tried this technique for the first time. You might recognize it from middle school crafting projects. I love this 100 Day Project because it lowers the barrier for something to be “worthy,” and it means creativity is less risky. And that always means more ideas.
