About this Piece

Instead of worrying about the shapes that overlapping shapes create, I wanted to focus more on the method first. Eliminating bubbles, dealing with the hanger on the back, etc. As with everything I’m doing right now, these are works in progress where I’m figuring things out.

There were no bubbles this time (I think), but a lot of plaques popped up. I really wasn’t thinking plaques would be a problem with something this thin, but I guess the layers do stack up.

I also need to perhaps pre-make and cut the backs. Embedding a hanger onto something that I don’t want to bake several times isn’t giving me a super neat experience. Yes, multiple bakes are a great tool for precision!
