This is Day 6 of my 100 Days of Wall Art project. You can learn more about my 100 Day Project here.
About this Piece
One of the things that’s super hard about trying to finish each project in a single day is that it limits you from making things that are too structurally or conceptually complex to finish in the time you have. There’s no time to experiment or have failures. But then part of this project is also to learn what happens when things go awry. This one was an exercise in faith. I knew how to make the clay and get it baked, but I was far less sure if it would all come together after baking. It doesn’t hang well on the wall, so I guess that’s also something I need to work out over the course of this project.
Construction Details
I’ll share progress pics and how-to information in each day’s post in the 100 Days Section of Blue Bottle Insiders. You can see all my projects (so far!), along with those of dozens of other members who are posting their daily projects as well. You can join Insiders here.
