This is Day 27 of my 100 Days of Wall Art project. You can learn more about my 100 Day Project here.
About this Piece
I wanted to give the fabric idea another try, this time with color shifting powders and a floral pattern, hoping for a rich brocade. It didn’t exactly turn out like I pictured in my mind, but there is another idea here that I might revisit it later. I struggled with the mica not behaving the way that I expected. I did some tests first, but then changed the mica mid-way through and that didn’t work well. Oh well, that’s the whole reason I’m doing this 100 Day Project. It gives me an opportunity to try new things. This is me spitballing.
