It is so frustrating when you just want to order something and the software doesn’t do what you want it to do! Every system has its quirks and it all depends on what software a merchant provider is using. You’d think they’d all be the same, but nooooo. Here’s some guidance for navigating my checkout process.
Proceed to PayPal
After you choose your items and go to the checkout, you will reach the page where you enter the billing information. At the bottom, there will be a summary of your order that gives your order total. Below that, there are two things to click before you can continue.
First tick the box about the Terms and Conditions. (It’s a good read if you have any questions, btw. But generally it’s just the legal talk.)
Next, click the button that says “Proceed to PayPal“. Even if you don’t have a PayPal account, this is the next step. Don’t worry, you don’t need a PayPal account and you can pay with any typical debit or credit card (MC, Visa, Amex, Discover).
Pay with Debit or Credit Card
When you get to the next page, this is what you’ll see. If you do want to pay with PayPal, ignore my red X and go ahead and log in. If you use PayPal, you’re pretty familiar with this part. 🙂 But if you want to pay with a debit or credit card, have a look at the bottom of the page.
Ignore all that stuff at the top about your username and password for signing into PayPal. Below that is the magic button for you if you want to use a debit or credit card. Click on the gray button and you’ll be taken to a standard credit card checkout page that you’re more familiar with. And there you go!
Once your payment is entered, you should be directed to the page where you can download your tutorial or eBook. You will also receive an email within a few minutes with your receipt containing a link to your download.
You can also head over to your account page here, where you can access all of your downloads at any time, now or in the future. For your convenience, there is also a link to the account page on the home page menu.
If you’re still stuck, then it sounds like something is wrong, and I definitely need to know about it! So please give me a shout on the Customer Service page and I’ll get to you as soon as I can.
Thank you so much for your patience, and happy claying!
